SMITHWRIGHT is a North Idaho–based custom home builder specializing in complex, design-driven homes and remodels. Our work is grounded in a clear understanding of place, a disciplined approach to construction, and close collaboration with architects and design teams.
Today, our company is led by Jason and Kelli Collins.
Jason brings a background in structural engineering, allowing us to engage early in the design process, anticipate complexity, and execute with a high level of precision. Together, we’ve shaped SMITHWRIGHTinto a firm that prioritizes clarity from the start and consistency all the way through.
The name SMITHWRIGHT reflects how we think about the work.
A wright is someone trusted to build with purpose, creating structures meant to carry weight and endure over time. A smith shapes raw material through skill, repetition, and care. Combined, SMITHWRIGHT represents our belief that building is both craft and responsibility.
